Twin Waters Resort

The Sunshine Coast has always been regarded as a traditional Australian beach holiday destination. The lack of crowds, few hi-rise areas and safe friendly townships provides a truly relaxing escape away from the rigours of everyday life. Combine that with the region’s expansive selection of golf courses and its reputation as a holiday ‘hotspot’ for families, the Sunshine Coast is an ideal destination for golfers of all ages and all levels.

Set in a pristine, sub-tropical environment, with an average daytime temperature of 20 degrees during winter, 30 - 35 degrees in the summer and seven hours of sunshine daily, the Sunshine Coast is the perfect destination for golf, relaxation and family fun.

For many of us, the Sunshine Coast is synonymous with the golfing greats of The Australian PGA Championship, yet this naturally refreshing Queensland destination is quickly becoming the destination of choice for the game’s future champions.
Since November 2003, The Invincibles Sunshine Coast Junior Golfing Tour, has been inspiring the next generation of players through its dedicated Junior Development Program and tournaments.

While The Invincibles Tour was originally created to support the rising number of star young players on the Sunshine Coast, it now offers visiting juniors a chance to play in tournaments while on holidays, regardless of their age or skill level.

Through The Invincibles Tour, visiting junior players can now participate in meaningful tournaments on some of Queensland’s finest courses, with local Sunshine Coast players.

And with The Invincibles taking care of the kids, it offers plenty of scope to work on your own game. As the home of the Australian PGA Championships, the region boasts more than 20 championship and regional courses.
There are five championship courses to choose from, including Hyatt Regency Coolum, the Greg-Norman-designed Pelican Waters Golf Club, Noosa Springs, Peregian Springs and Twin Waters Golf Club.

But it’s not just the golfers that are catered for - the region is also home to numerous day spas, eclectic markets and boutique shopping villages, plus an abundance of outdoor attractions including those seemingly endless stretches of white, sandy beaches.

When the kids are not on the greens with The Invincibles, they can try their hand at fishing, sailing or kayaking in the sparkling coastal waters or visit the well-known attractions such as Australia Zoo, Big Kart Track, Aussie World or Underwater World
.
So next time you’re thinking of a golf trip consider winning admiration off the course with your family as well as on the course with a personal best round on the naturally refreshing Sunshine Coast.
